16. Wendy Bird
Peter Pan - a ballet. Act 2
Wendy/Bird
With the danger gone, the Lost Boys come out to play. They see Wendy come into view overhead and think she is a bird.
Tink has returned ahead of the others and, in a fit of jealousy, tells the boys Peter said to shoot down the bird. They fire their arrows and Wendy falls. The Lost Boys rush over and realize Wendy is no bird. Peter lands and banishes Tinkerbell for her act.
He holds Wendy, thinking she is dead. He is mortified, his aloofness breaking for the first time. But Wendy stirs; the arrow has hit the acorn/kiss and has saved her life.
She rises and greets the Lost Boys. All is joy.
