22. Indian-Pirate War / Capture
Peter Pan - a ballet. Act 4
Indian/Pirate War
Indians and Pirates have met to do battle. They stalk each other for a time, then face off and begin a running, chasing fight. The Indians lose, all falling with the woodwinds one after another at the end of the quick brass and percussion section.
Smee gives Hook the Indian drum of victory, and Hook beats it to entice the boys out of hiding. The boys, no longer enemies of the Indians since Tiger Lily's rescue, believe their friends have won.
Capture
The boys emerge one by one to play, but are snatched and dragged away. Last to be nabbed is Wendy. Peter is still asleep in the cave.
