California Girls

Worked on some pre=production with the band... I don't remember exactly what happened, but Danny broke it off. The musicians were amazing - Vatos on drums, Richard Gibbs on keys, Steve Dudek on guitar. We did this version of "California Girls", with the riff in 15/8. it's so clever, and played like a squeaky tight machine. Lyric changes work so well, too, with the switch to an intergalactic dating theme.
